Guide · Troubleshooting

Start here when something is off.

Six quick checks cover most questions we get on Discord. The full recovery path for a broken install is further down.

  1. A network feature says “Paused — Local Mode has Wi-Fi off”. Turn it off in Settings → Local Mode; UPnP, Radio, Transfer and Rsync resume by themselves. Local Mode →
  2. The phone app does not list “Infinity Player”. UPnP on, same Wi-Fi, no guest network or AP isolation. Vanished later? With UPnP off the DAP deep-sleeps; switch it on. UPnP troubleshooting →
  3. A radio station stays silent. Open it, tap Check: an unreachable link is the station's fault. Some stations block listeners abroad. Deleted one? Restore the built-in list from the ⋮ menu.
  4. Qobuz or Tidal sign-in says the WebView is too old. Sign in once in Android mode (Settings → Infinity Pure → Android card, reboot), then switch back; it's kept. Infinity Pure →
  5. Harmonic switched itself off after a reboot. A V11 bug, fixed in V12: update from Settings → Anantar Ultimate Update. V12 also makes Harmonic OFF instant, no reboot. Update →
  6. DSD Remaster or HRRAI is greyed out. Infinity Pure only; DSD Remaster also needs the Analog or Extreme boot profile (Anantar Ultimate → Standard → Boot), then reboot. DSD Remaster →
Still stuck? Ask on Discord with your DAP model, the version from Settings → Anantar Ultimate Update, and what you tapped last.

If Something Goes Wrong

Don't panic. Every scenario has a documented path back — from a stuck boot to a full reflash.

You can always recover. Every supported DAP is Qualcomm-based, so even a hard brick is fixable. Try the soft-brick steps below first; QFIL only if it won't boot.
Soft Brick Recovery
  1. Turn the device OFF.
  2. Hold Bottom Side Button + Power Button together.
  3. When the iBasso logo appears, release Power (keep holding the Side Button).
  4. Navigate to "Recovery Mode" → confirm with Power.
  5. Select "Wipe data/factory reset" → confirm the factory data reset.
  6. Select "Reboot system now".
Hard Brick Recovery (QFIL)

The DX340 uses a Qualcomm SoC, so you can flash the entire firmware via QFIL (Qualcomm Flash Image Loader).

What you need:

  • QFIL tool
  • USB-C cable
  • iBasso full firmware package
  • Qualcomm EDL drivers

Steps to flash (high-level):

  1. Enter EDL mode.
  2. Connect the device.
  3. Open QFIL.
  4. Select the firmware.
  5. Flash.
  6. Reboot.
