โฌ Download Anantar Installer (APK)
▶ The whole install on video — about 3 minutes.
Put the APK on the player
Open this page in the player's browser and download it there, or copy the APK to the player over USB / WiFi Transfer. Then tap the file and allow installs from that app when Android asks.
Open Anantar Installer and finish the checklist
The app checks Wi-Fi, internet, Developer options and Wireless debugging, and takes you straight to the right Settings row for anything still missing. Turn Wireless debugging on, tick Always allow on this network, then tap Continue.
Tap Install and wait for the restart
Keep the player on the charger and on Wi-Fi. It restarts by itself when the install finishes โ that single restart is the whole install.

What you need
- A computer (PC or Mac) with ADB (Android Debug Bridge) installed
- A high-quality USB-C cable
- Approximate time: ~10 minutes
Prepare your device
One-time and safe: it lets your computer talk to your player. Do all three parts in order in Android mode on the player (DX340, DX340Max, DX320MAX, DX320, DX270, DX260MK2, DX180).
Settings › About phone › tap Build number 7 times
You'll see "You are now a developer!" when it works. Enter your PIN if asked.
Settings › System › Developer options › USB debugging: ON
"Developer options" only shows up after the first part. Tap OK on any warning — it's safe.
Plug in the USB-C cable › tap Allow on the pop-up
Tick "Always allow from this computer" first. No pop-up? Re-plug the cable or unlock the screen.

Download the installer
โฌ Download Anantar-Ultimate-Installer.zip
Extract the ZIP to any folder. Keep Wi-Fi connected during the install so the device can fetch what it needs.
Run the installer for your OS
Open the file that matches your computer:
Windows-Anantar-Ultimate-Installer.bat
๐ macOS / Linux: MacOS-Anantar-Ultimate-Installer.command
macOS Tip: If it fails, open Terminal โ type chmod +x โ drag the .command file in โ press Enter โ try again.
Windows Tip: If the installer can't find ADB, download platform-tools, extract it, and place the platform-tools folder inside the installer folder. Then run the .bat again.
Follow the on-screen prompts. If Magisk asks for "Additional Setup", tap OK. Wait for the ANANTAR ULTIMATE logo in the terminal โ the device then reboots automatically.
What the installer actually does (DX340 / DX340Max / DX270 / DX260MK2 / DX180)
The .bat / .command file is just a launcher: it drives the whole install over ADB (Android Debug Bridge). Here's the sequence:
- Finds ADB. If
adbisn't on your computer, it downloads Google's official platform-tools into the installer folder and uses that. - Waits for the device. Holds until your DAP shows up over USB (USB Debugging must be ON). If it hangs, unplug and replug the cable.
- Checks the device's internet. Pings our server โ the module is fetched on the device, so Wi-Fi must be on.
- Auto-fixes a prior
adb remount. A common bootloop cause, so the installer clears the leftover overlay, re-enables verity and reboots to a clean read-only state first. - Runs a debloat script. Downloads and runs
basic_debloat.shon the device to trim non-essential background services. - Requests root. Runs
adb root, auto-grants ADB superuser and notification permissions in Magisk, then opens Magisk for the โAdditional Setupโ dialog โ tap OK. - Downloads the module. Reads
update.jsonfrom our server to find the latest version, then downloads the Anantar Ultimate Magisk module to the device. - Installs the module. Runs
magisk --install-moduleand checks the module directory exists, retrying up to 5 times while a new device's Magisk finishes first-run setup. - Done. Cleans up temp files, prints the ANANTAR ULTIMATE banner, and the device reboots automatically.
Nothing is flashed or destructive here โ your device is already rooted via Magisk, and the installer only adds the Magisk module on top. The whole thing is reversible from inside the Magisk app.

Prepare your device
This lets your computer talk to your player. You only do it once, and there's nothing to break. Do all three parts below on the player (DX340 / DX340Max / DX320MAX / DX320 / DX270 / DX260MK2 / DX180) in Android mode, in order.

Download the installer
โฌ Download Anantar-Ultimate-Installer.zip
Same download as every device โ it already contains the DX320 series installer. Extract the ZIP to any folder and keep Wi-Fi connected during the install.
Run the DX320 series installer
Open the file that starts with DX320SERIES_ and matches your computer:
DX320SERIES_Windows-Anantar-Ultimate-Installer.bat
๐ macOS / Linux: DX320SERIES_MacOS-Anantar-Ultimate-Installer.command
The terminal pauses and asks you to press ENTER at a couple of points โ press it only after you've done the matching on-device tap in Step 4.
Tap these on the device screen
During the install the terminal will say โLOOK AT YOUR DEVICE SCREEN.โ There are just two taps, in order:
No pop-up? Open the Magisk app โ Superuser tab and turn Shell ON.
That's it โ no other taps. When the Anantar Ultimate screen appears on the device, it reboots automatically and Infinity Player opens. You're done. ๐
What the installer actually does (DX320 / DX320MAX)
The DX320 series needs an unlocked bootloader. On Windows, right-click the .bat โ Run as administrator: it installs a USB driver and flashes the boot partition. Here's the sequence:
- Finds ADB + fastboot. Downloads Google's platform-tools if they're missing.
- Stages the fastboot USB driver into the Windows Driver Store now (while still in ADB mode), so Windows recognises the device automatically when it reboots into fastboot.
- Detects your exact model + firmware (e.g.
2.03) and downloads the matching pre-patched boot image from our server โ one patched image per firmware version. - Checks the device's internet, then runs the
basic_debloat.shscript on the device. - Reboots to fastboot and flashes the patched boot (
fastboot flash boot), then reboots back to Android โ the device is now rooted. - Installs the Magisk Manager app via your PC (the device's DNS often can't reach GitHub) and opens it. Tap OK on โRequires additional setupโ; the device reboots.
- Grants root to the installer. Triggers a Magisk Superuser prompt โ you tap GRANT โ and makes it permanent so later steps don't prompt again.
- Downloads + installs the module. Fetches
update.jsonand the Anantar Ultimate module on your PC (reliable DNS), pushes the ZIP to the device, and runsmagisk --install-module. - Done. The module reboots the device itself and Infinity Player opens.
The only thing written to the device is the boot partition (the pre-patched image) and the Magisk module โ nothing else is touched. To undo: reflash the original boot image, or remove the module from the Magisk app.
Optional Power-User Tweaks
Everything below is optional. Expand only what you need โ your install already sounds great without it.
Want even better sound? Format your microSD as EXT4 (advanced)
Switching your microSD from exFAT to EXT4 is one of the most impactful changes you can make for audio quality.
Why it helps: EXT4 is handled natively by the Linux kernel, removing the exFAT FUSE/software translation layer. That lowers CPU overhead and electrical noise โ expect roughly a 10โ15% SQ improvement: a larger soundstage, better 3D positioning, and more micro-detail. Anantar Ultimate provides full native EXT4 support in MangoOS.
Format via ADB:
- Back up your microSD data first โ formatting erases everything on the card.
- Connect the DX340 / DX340Max / DX320MAX / DX320 / DX270 / DX260MK2 / DX180 via USB and open an ADB shell.
- Grant root (shell permission) access.
- Run the formatting command via ADB Shell to format the card with optimized parameters for high-fidelity audio playback.
- Wait for completion, then reboot the device.
Limitations & how to revert:
- EXT4 cards are not directly readable on Windows/macOS card readers โ transfer files via USB/ADB instead.
- To switch back: Settings โ Storage โ Format as portable, or use ADB to reformat to exFAT.
Upgrade firmware without data loss
- Download the OTA firmware ZIP from the iBasso website.
- Run
adb reboot recovery. - Select "Apply update from ADB".
- Run
adb sideload DX340_full_ota_x.xx.zip. - Reboot, then reinstall Anantar Ultimate.
โ ๏ธ Windows 11 has issues with fastboot โ use QFIL or ADB sideload instead.
Installed? Updates arrive in the app from now on — see Update. Something not right? Start with Troubleshooting.
